What if the job is bigger than what I booked?
The plumber stops and explains what's different, and you hear the new price before any extra work. Nothing extra is done without your OK. Extra time is A$82.50 per 30 minutes.
Do I pay anything upfront?
No. There's no deposit and no booking fee. You pay on the day, once the job is done. Before we come, we call you to confirm the job and the price.
What's the free check?
With every visit, the plumber spends about 10 minutes checking your other taps, toilets and the hot water relief valve, then leaves you a written list of anything worth watching. There's no charge, and nothing on the list is done unless you ask for it and agree the price.
Can I book several jobs at once?
Yes. Add every job to one booking and we do them in one visit. You pay one call-out: each extra job that's priced at the call-out rate costs A$165 instead of A$209.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. The work is done by Plaza Works Pty Ltd, QBCC licence 15535375, with A$10 million public liability insurance.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Our workmanship on the work we did, for as long as you own the home. If it fails because of how we did it, we fix it free. Parts carry the maker's warranty. The full terms are on our warranty page.
Do I need to be home?
Someone over 18 needs to be home to let the plumber in and approve any change to the price. If that's hard, tell us when we call to confirm and we'll work something out.
Do you do gas fitting?
No. Our licence covers plumbing and drainage. For gas appliances or gas hot water, use a licensed gas fitter.
Do you work on weekends?
Our normal hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Ask about urgent work outside those hours.
Do you work for landlords and property managers?
Yes. We can work from a work order, contact the tenant to book access, and send the report and photos to the agent.
