The problem
The hot water system at this Robina property had sprung a leak in its pipework. Water was pooling on the floor around the tanks, and the call came in as urgent.
What we did
- Isolated the system so the leak stopped
- Found the leaking and faulty sections of pipework
- Cut them out and replaced them with new copper pipe and fittings
- Tested every joint under pressure
- Recommissioned the whole hot water system and checked it was heating and delivering properly
Why it matters
A hot water leak wastes water and power around the clock, and water sitting around tanks and electrical equipment is a hazard. Replacing the failed pipework, rather than patching one joint, means the next weak spot isn’t left waiting to go.
